Terms of sale
1. Who we are

2. What you buy
A personalized song (MP3, about 2–3 minutes) and a gift page, made from your answers. Two optional extras, $12 each, chosen at checkout: the same song in another style, and a song for someone else, anytime (a song credit, see section 9).
3. Price and payment
$39 for one song. One-time payment. No subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can also buy just the short version — the preview you heard, as an MP3 with a gift page — for $9; after a short version, the whole song is $30 ($39 in all).
4. How the song is made
Lyrics are drafted with AI from your answers; music and vocals are produced with an AI music model.
5. Delivery
Digital delivery by email and gift page. The gift page and the download link work for 90 days after delivery; then the song is deleted from our servers. Download the MP3 to keep it.
6. Refunds
Not happy with the full song? Within 30 days of delivery, choose a free fix — a new style, or the name sung the way it should be — or a full refund.
The free preview of about a minute that you hear before you pay is your main guarantee. One free fix per song: a new style, or the name sung the way it should be. Or, if you'd rather, a full refund — you don't have to try the fix first. Ask within 30 days of delivery by writing to support@writeasongfor.me with your order number; a real person replies within 1 business day. You also get a full refund within 30 days of delivery if something is broken on our side: the wrong name, broken audio, or a song that was never delivered. When a refund is made, the gift page and the download link are closed.
7. Your right to cancel (UK and EU buyers)
If you live in the UK or the EU, you have 14 days to cancel your order. For digital content such as your song, this right ends once we start making and delivering your song, if at checkout you asked us to start making and delivering your song right away, before the 14-day cancellation period ends, and you acknowledged that once we start, you lose your right to cancel this order. We confirm both in your order email. Our free-fix-or-refund promise in section 6 still applies.
8. Using your song
Share it anywhere for personal use. Uploading it to Spotify, Apple Music or other streaming services isn’t allowed.
9. Your extra song
If you add a song for someone else at checkout, it doesn’t expire. Your receipt email and your thank-you page give you a link to it. You can use it yourself or give it to anyone: whoever opens the link fills in the quiz and gets a full song, with nothing more to pay. Anyone who has the link can use it, so share it only with the person you mean it for.
If you haven’t used it, you can ask for its $12 back within 30 days of your song’s delivery; after that it simply stays valid. A refund of your song doesn’t cancel a song credit you haven’t used.
10. Contact and complaints
If something is wrong, write to us first at support@writeasongfor.me — a real person replies within 1 business day. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK and we can’t settle it together, you can also take your complaint to the consumer protection body of your country or to a court.
11. Applicable law
Polish law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms takes away or limits the rights that consumer law gives you — your statutory rights are not affected — and nothing here limits our free-fix-or-refund promise in section 6.
